Art in the Wild
Edmonton’s Valley Zoo Development Society presents Art in the Wild
On September 12 The Valley Zoo will become the city’s wildest art gallery with local and international artists displaying and selling their works at “Art in the Wild”.
In addition to works of art from over 30 artists, Lucy the Zoo’s Asian elephant will demonstrate her love for art as she creates a unique canvas with local artist Tim Rechner. All artists are generously donating 25% of all sales to the next phase of the Valley Zoo’s Master Plan, Nature’s Wild Backyard.
Hosted by the Valley Zoo Development Society and the Valley Zoo, and sponsored by
EgoAnt Productions and
4 Way Equipment Rentals, the evening will include some nose-to-nose encounters with some of the animals at the Zoo, chats with knowledgeable interpretive staff, live musical performances, complimentary appetizers and desserts, plus a cash wine and beer bar.
