Help Wanted – Volunteer Board and Committee Members
We are looking for a few conscientious and dedicated volunteer Board and Committee Members who are interested in getting actively involved with the VZDS in supporting the Valley Zoo. We are especially looking for people with experience in accounting and fundraising but knowledge and skills in policy development, event planning, business management and committee leadership would be beneficial. Board members are initially elected for a three-year term.
Requirements:
- Commitment to the mission of the VZDS;
- Attendance at monthly Board meetings and Annual General Meeting;
- Willingness to serve on committees;
- Attendance at committee meetings; and
- Support of and participation in fundraising/special events.
